McCallie School

The McCallie School enters the 2025-2026 campaign with high expectations under new head coach Kenneth White, himself a McCallie alumnus and former collegiate player at North Carolina. After a disappointing finish last season due to the toll injuries took on their roster, they are looking to bounce back to form this season. The Blue Tornado are led by a trio of seniors: Trell Knight (2026), Ernas Valauskas (2026), and Garrison White (2026). They will also look to Ryan Wingard (2027) to make an impact on the court for them. Also patrolling the perimeter will be Malcolm Suleiman (2028).

The Blue Tornado will play in the SouthEast Showcase and the State Farm Invitational in Nashville as they prepare for a deep postseason run. Another marquee matchup will be at the annual Dr. Pepper Classic versus La Lumiere. That rugged lineup of opponents will serve both as a test and as a springboard, pushing the team to sharpen its chemistry, execute defensively, and elevate its offensive consistency.
