Middleton, FL 2025-2026 Record: 24-8

Team Info

For more than a decade, The Villages High School boys basketball program has established itself as one of Florida’s premier high school basketball powers. Built on toughness, discipline, and a relentless team-first mentality, the Buffalo have become a model of sustained success and high-level player development throughout the Sunshine State. Led by Aaron Britt, Jr. (2027, committed to Texas Tech), a dynamic playmaking Point Guard, the Buffalo are set up for success. Joining Britt is Jomar Bernard (2027, committed to Florida Atlantic) whose combination of energetic and fast-paced play will overwhelm defenses. Miles Simpson (2028) will look for an expanded role for the Buffalo this season, and Zayden Garcia (2029) is looking to make a statement after his breakout performance this past summer in the Puma Pro16 circuit. Rounding out the returners, Cam Lee (2029) is coming back from a late-season shoulder injury and will provide the Buffalo a steady second-option at the Point Guard position, allowing Britt, Jr. to play off the ball.

The Buffalo have compiled a national schedule this year with matchups against in-state powerhouses Dynamic Prep, Montverde Academy, and Sarasota. They will also make their first appearance in the Capitol Hoops Challenge, playing two games in the DC metro area. The Villages is looking to make their way back to avenge their fall in the FHSAA Class 3A State Championship game last season.
